The first Battlegroup I finished are the Sparabara (or shield bearers). The plan was to make them bright and colorful without looking like they've escaped from a circus (or that Batman-Series back from the sixties).
So I decided to paint them in different shades of red, and to paint a a little pattern on the trousers. This is because I wanted the Sparabara to distinguish from the Immortals, which will be much more colorful and covered with patterns.
So, one Battlegroup down, a lot more to go! The next one will be the Saka Foot - unit, so stay tuned for further updates!
Cheers,
Thomas

Project "Battle of Marathon" - The armies have arrived
After several weeks of waiting the armies we ordered from Black Hat Miniatures arrived last Friday.
I lost no time as we want to get them onto the table ASAP and managed to build the first Battlegroups.
The plan is to have finished building the Battlegroups by the end of this week so I can start painting them. At the moment I am planning to finish one BG a week, let's see if can manage to do that.
I'll keep you updated!

Infinity Aleph Starter
I am not sure how long they've been lying around, but it must be at least half a year since I bought the Aleph Starter Group for Infinity.
I tried to stick to the original black and white colour sceme and found it really hard to paint, especially the three robots.
So with no further ado, here they are:

Thomas

Napoleon at War - State of the project
It's been quite for some time, but now I finally finished the first few units for Napoleon at War.
Not a huge army, of course, but this will be enough to start playing and getting into the rules.
There is more to come, as the first rifle-unit is already on my workbench.
Cheers,
Thomas

Ladies and Gentleman, I am proud to announce our next big project:
The battle of Marathon!
This will be our project for the Hamburger Tactica in 2014, so watch out for a lot of information on history, miniature painting, and terrain building from now on!
Cheers,
Thomas

The basic work is done and I am looking forward to finishing the model by the end of the week.
Looks much more like a Roman general now.
Cheers,
Thomas
