Vassal - nicht immer schön, aber praktisch. Gestern haben wir die Blücher Regeln einem ersten Test unterzogen. Da Matze und mich bekanntermaßen 570 Kilometer Autobahn voneinander trennen, ist es leider nicht mehr möglich mal fix auf ein Spiel beim anderen vorbei zu fahren. Als Notlösung haben wir uns "Vassal" (mit dem Modul DLG_Napoleonic) bedient, ein Online-Tool, dass sicherlich viele von Euch kennen werden. Das ist zwar nicht immer ganz schick und manchmal auch komisch zu bedienen, aber seinen Zweck erfüllt es - und das soll uns erstmal reichen. In dem gespielten Szenario "Über die Donau" greifen vier Französische Corps die Österreicher an, die mit 3 Korps den Donauübergang halten sollen. Den heutigen Nachmittag habe ich dazu genutzt, ein weiteres Testspiel der Altar of Freedom Regeln zu machen, um meine Regelkenntnisse zu festigen. Zunächst sei aber gesagt: mir ist klar, das das viel (viel, viel, viel) zu wenige Einheiten für das Regelwerk sind, ich habe mir bewusst so einen kleinen Ausschnitt gewählt, um keine Details aus den Augen zu verlieren. Hier nun der Schlachtbericht von unserer Genaralprobe: Wir schreiben den 10. April 1741.
