Just a few days ago Warlord Games released their latest half-track model. Nothing special about vehicles from Warlord Games, but this one is not a resin model, it's made of plastic! So let us take a closer look at this model: and see what is in the box. Here we are. As you can see, there are quite some parts and, what I especially like, some waterslide transfers! (I don't know if Warlord Games puts some in every vehicle pack, I got none as I received my StuG II model some weeks ago) Building the model itself is quite simple, the parts fit together easily and whenever there is some cutting work to be done, your hobby knife will cut easily through the soft plastic. In about 15 minutes I got the main parts of the model assembled. There are a lot of smaller details and stowage as well as a gunner wit both, MG '42 and '34 options. For this review, I did not glue those things to the model, because I want to make some changes to the model before it gets painted. Here you can s

Fighting men of the Red Army and Navy! The last storming of the Hitlerite lair is on. Set new examples of military skill and gallantry in the concluding battles. Smite the enemy harder, skilfully break up his defence, pursue and surround the German invaders, give them no respite until they cease resistance. (Order of the day No. 20, 1945) Finally we can disclose the secret about our participation game on the Hamburger Tactica 2013: The escalade of the Reichstag 1945!  Take command of the soviet troops and raise the flag of the Motherland on top of the roof. ... more to follow soon! ------------------------------ Soldaten der Roten Armee! One of the best-looking German tanks of WW 2 is, at least for me, the Sturmgeschütz III Ausführung G. with Topfblende, better known as "Saukopf" (for the mantle of the gun looking like a boar head). This will be the perfect support tank for my grenadiers. So when yesterday the model arrived, I lost no time and got busy. On the picture above I just unpacked it and put the essential part together to get e feel of how the model will look at the end. And I must say, I'm absolutely satisfied about this model. This is quite a chunk of resin but the details look fine and crisp. Today I will base coat the model and scratch-build the missing MG, which is not provided with this model, although it should be on this tank. It's not missing, Warlord just does not provide a MG, dunno why. After base coating the Tank itself, the Schürzen will get the same treatment. I did not jet decide whether I will add some battle damage to them. What do you think about damaged Schürzen? Apart fr
